“Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in our heart.”
I was given the absolute privilege to work with the Breininger family. Tiffany Breininger, founder of the Queen B Project, and her husband John came to visit my studio after welcoming their son Maverick Daniel into their family. Maverick Daniel and his bright-eyed self brings them joy beyond words. It was such a pleasure to be able to capture this special family’s moments. These first moments can be so incredible and are vital to remembering their story. Along for pictures at the studio we had Maverick’s big brother Maximus and his mom and dad but, you may be wondering who else came along. Maverick is a rainbow baby. A rainbow baby is a child born following a miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, or infant loss. The reason for this name is in nature a rainbow follows a storm. A beautiful, bright, colorful gift to give hope to those who braved the storm. Emma Grace featured here in the pictures was stillborn in 2014. She was the inspiration for the Queen B Project. The Queen B Project, founded by Maverick’s Mom, provides connection and comfort to grieving families whose precious babies have gone too soon. Tiffany and her family have been moving mountains in honor of their baby Emma Grace. The Queen B Project provides these families with comfort bags, connection, and support.
